KILMORE

A substantial school room, built of stone, has just been completed at this township, on land given by the proprietors of the Survey. Its dimensions are 39 feet long by 19 feet wide, so that it will contain a congregation of about 130 persons. It was opened for public worship by the Rev. William Jones Singleton on Sunday, February 17th, 1850.

It is also intended to use it for the purposes of a day school; and a master and mistress, at present training in Melbourne, will immediately proceed to Kilmore.

There is a dwelling-house attached to this building, which is now occupied by the Rev. W. Singleton and his family. We understand that it is the intention of the liberal parishioners of this gentleman to increase the accommodation by the addition of two rooms.
